Fake nails are made of diverse types of materials that don’t damage the natural nails. However, they can sometimes become a cause of infection. There are two prevalent types of artificial nails such as gel and acrylic nails. The gel nails need “curing” with UV light, and when it’s damaged, or the natural nail grows, a gap can develop between both nails. The gap provides a warm atmosphere where an infection can flourish easily. So, it’s better not to apply artificial nails.
